Melodie is a Mars Petcare US Marketing associate from Nashville, TN. She is living and working in Leuven, Belgium, while helping to create a marketing campaign for VECO as part of the Mars Ambassador Program (MAP).Each year, the Mars Ambassador Program receives applications from Mars Associates across the globe who are looking for a unique service opportunity. This is a program that any Mars Associates can apply for, and if chosen, they are given the chance to demonstrate Mars’ commitment to putting the Five Principles into action around the world.
First established as a pilot program in 2008, the Mars Ambassador Program is a global initiative that allows associates to put the principles into action by making a difference to people and the planet through the creation of mutually beneficial Associate engagement opportunities.
Working with non-profit partner organizations in key countries around the world, the program seeks to mobilize talented Associates across all segments and regions, connect them directly with relevant organizations around the world that support our business objectives, and leverages their professional or technical expertise to make a positive difference in major societal and environmental issues that are of critical importance to our business.
